The Orphic Review (Orphic Press) formerly known as Crow of Minerva was created as a blog featuring monthly interviews with women artists. It was created in 2019 by the artist Roisin Ní Neachtain with the aim of supporting and promoting emerging women artists working in any medium. It closed temporarily in March 2023 and reopened January 2024.

Bio:

Anne Daly is a writer who lives in Co. Meath, Ireland. She studied Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama in UCD. She was previously Poetry Editor for Crossways literary journal. She writes poetry, short fiction and reviews.  She placed second in the Allingham Flash Fiction Prize, 2021. Her debut pamphlet Triptych was published by Alien Buddha Press in April 2022.

Bio:

Róisín Ní Neachtain is a writer living in Kildare, Ireland. She has been published by Abridged, Firmament (Sublunary Editions), The Honest Ulsterman, in a Broken Sleep Books anthology and with Poetry Jukebox. Her work was awarded the Dennis O’Driscoll Literary Bursary Award, second place at the Red Line and been shortlisted in a number of competitions. Róisín was also recently awarded a mentorship with the IWC National Mentoring Programme. Her first solo exhibition was held at Culturlann, Belfast in 2022 and she was subsequently mentored by Brian Maguire. She is a professional member of the Irish Writers Centre and Visual Artists Ireland. Her third collection of poetry is forthcoming with Broken Sleep Books (December 2025).
